November 2017 Desert Housing Report
November 2017 Desert Housing Report shows strong performance year over year for Greater Palm Springs Area Real Estate. The December 1st inventory of 3,843 units WAS 923 units less than last year. Higher sales numbers over the last twelve months have helped to keep available housing inventory low.
A look at page 12 of the November 2017 Desert Housing Report will show that it’s still a mixed market. Homes priced over $800,000 have more than six months of inventory exhibiting a buyer’s market. More affordable homes are showing low inventories, thus a seller’s market.*
*As always, good homes, priced right are selling in all price ranges. Today’s informed home buyers will choose the best homes at the best price in any price range! Yet there are more inventory than home buyers at the higher end of the market here in the Greater Palm Springs CA area.
